Schiffbruecke Flensburg

After the concert in Moorhausen, we stayed in a hotel in nearby Oldenburg. From there it was “only” a four hour drive up to Flensburg which gave us time to stop for lunch.

Today was an early show at the Museumwerft Schiffbruecke – both a museum and a working boat yard with a cafe which has outdoor seating.

While on tour last year, Ray and I visited the cafe which is right by the harbour. We admired the boatyard and said it would be a lovely venue for an outdoor concert. We told this to Ray’s friend Thies and so this year he spoke with the owners of the boatyard and the cafe to arrange a concert.
