It’s nearly time to get on the road again. Even though the UK is no longer politically in Europe, we feel Ray’s touring is continuing along Europe’s roads.
For Ray, the ten solo dates are interspersed with eight shows with Oysterband and June Tabor. It makes the tour logistics somewhat interesting. Many thanks to Martin in Beccles and Lotte at the Prince Albert in Stroud for rescheduling shows to November 2025.
The first show is at the legendary Green Note cafe in Camden Town, London. This time it’s on a Thursday (10th). Doors open 7pm and music starts 8.30pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited and available on a first come first served basis so, if you’d like a seat, they recommend arriving early for a drink and cake.
Then it’s down to Cranbrook for Friday night at St Dunstans Church, organised by St Ediths Folk Club. Saturday it’s an early start to get Ray up to Oxford to catch a lift to Manchester to re-join Oysterband and June for three more shows starting at the Royal Northern College of Music before going up to Sunderland and then down to Leicester for a show at the De Montfort Hall.
Ray then resumes his solo tour at the Red Lion Folk Club in Kings Heath, Birmingham on Wednesday 16th October.
