This next tour is geographically but not politically over Europe’s roads (but we do hope that both may become true again in my lifetime).
John Jones has asked Ray and Al Scott to join him to tour as a trio. See www.johnjonestrio.org and they asked me to be their tour manager for the UK tour 17th April to 11th May. So the step up is from touring with one musician to touring with three.
The venues have been booked by Rich Quarterman from Midnight Mango and fall into six stages with a day off between them. My aim is to post an update to this web log on each day off.
John, Ray and Al have already made one tour in Denmark (see the tour post here) and have released two tracks on their YouTube channel (@jonescooperscott) – a medley of excerpts from three songs and a new recording of John’s song She Wrote Her Name Today which is also available to listen on all the major music streaming channels.
These are the venues we will be visiting:

The first stage takes in The Ropery Hall, Barton Upon Humber, Greystones in Sheffield and The Band On The Wall in Manchester with the first two shows already sold out. Meet you there.
